Update

Dearest blognation, 
    If you haven't noticed it's been a while. I've kind of been cheating on you with Tumblr. I tried it out to see if I liked it and the verdict is I do. I'm not sure if it will fully satisfy as a writing outlet so check back here from time to time but until then you can find me here.

Wedding Season

You know I don't really know what the actual 'wedding season' is; the dates, how long, etc. But I do know that you always find yourself at one in the summer while you helplessly fan yourself with the program thinking you could keel over and die of heat stroke at any minute and where the *@^!$% is the bride?!
But when the groom takes his place, and everything falls silent as the bride emerges, and you see the amazing love taking place in front of you, you suddenly realize why you are there and why this season is so known and loved.
Last weekend my big from my sorority got married, and it was magical.

Summer Adventures

Summer has finally graced everyone with her presence and I am so pleased to greet her! I can take on the scorching 102 degree heat with a drink in my hand and a pool by my side always. My parents, Nick, and I started off summer with a quick trip to Key West, Florida before summer school began.

 There's something magical about watching and appreciating the sunset with 100s of other people every evening.

After that amazing trip I didn't do much due to summer school. Math definitely swallowed me up for the month of June, but I was glad to get it over with. As a celebration we took off to San Marcos & Austin for the July 4th weekend. Lakeway resort was just what we needed. 

And while I was in Austin we had a great surprise, my roomie and friend Courtney got engaged!!

sadly I wasn't there to take these pictures of the precious couple but I am so happy for them!! Can't wait for the wedding you bet I'll be telling yall all about it!!

There's not much coming up in the weeks to come just really enjoying that last bit of summer and the "there's nothing to do" epiphany; getting antsy and ready for school to start up again. Can't wait to move, see the family, and for rush to start back up.
